Many of Elite Soccer League's teams play in a gaming circuit called Signature League/Select.  Signature league was originally created by Cal South to help coaches and players move beyond pure recreational soccer and into a more competitive environment.

SoCal Soccer League now offers a Pre-Club level of soccer called Flight 4. Flight 4 is meant to fill the same gap that Signature fills; however, club teams are allowed to enter teams whereas with Signature League, only organizations that support pure recreational soccer are allowed to join. As a result, our Flight 4 teams will enter under the CFA banner and our Signature teams will enter under the ESL banner.

Signature League and Flight 4 are both natural fits for young players who have developed into all-stars on their respective recreational soccer teams.  These players will develop a greater love for the game and improve their individual skill set at a much quicker pace by playing with and against other highly-skilled players.

In addition, coaches who join Signature League and Flight 4 are instructed by the same trainers who certify all club coaches and trainers in Southern California.

ADDITIONAL SIGNATURE DETAILS

  • Age Brackets - Boys and girls born between 2010 and 2014

  • Game Dates - Saturdays/Sundays, September 11 through November 24

  • Practices - Two training sessions per week

  • Locations - Home games on local South County fields, away games mixed with South County and North County

  • Player Fees* - Registration fees are just $425

  • Deadline - August 21 (must be accepted onto a team before registering)

  • Format - 7v7 for 2013-2014; 9v9 for 2011-2012; 11v11 for 2010

  • Choice - Players and coaches can pick their own teams without restriction; Elite Soccer League & CFA will help fill open slots through the Academy Evaluation process

    *Uniforms are not included in the registration fees. The cost for Signature uniforms is about $75. The cost of CFA Flight 4 uniforms is about $200. In addition, a $35-$45 referee fee (per player) will be collected by the Team Manager before the fall season begins

    * Flight 4 teams will get free entry into the CFA San Clemente Cup in August
